Beehive Stadium Hosts Playoffs

Beehive Stadium, former home of the New Britain Red Sox, will host a double header between the Chiefs (2) and the A&A Office Systems Phillies (3) on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Beehive Stadium, like Muzzy Field, were former homes to the minor league baseball clubs of the Boston Red Sox. Muzzy Field saw greats like Wade Boggs, Oil Can Boyd, Butch Hobson, Bruce Hurst and Bob the Steamer Stanley. Beehive also had its fair share of greats with Roger Clemens, Ellis Burks, Sam Horn and Mo Vaughn, just to name a few.

Although some might consider Beehive Stadium a relic in this day and age, it is still a great place to have a classic showdown between two of GHIBL’s finest.

Come join GHIBL on Sunday to enjoy some great baseball or just to see where some of baseball greats got their start!
